To keep up with the pace of our work, we are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to provide clerical admin support.

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer receptionist/secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and supportive environment. They will also assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our organization, including assisting our psychologist with writing up reports in a timely manner.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our psychologist with writing up reports in a timely manner

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department

  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

  • Assist with organizing and coordinating events and workshops

  • Provide general administrative support to staff as needed

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Friendly and welcoming demeanor

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not required

 

Time Commitment:

  • This is a part-time volunteer position, with a minimum commitment of three days per week (9am - 3pm). Flexible scheduling is available.
