Executive Committee Hours per week: 15 -25 hours

We are seeking a dedicated volunteer receptionist/secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing a welcoming and supportive environment. They will also assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of our organization, including assisting our psychologist with writing up reports in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist our psychologist with writing up reports in a timely manner

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner

Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
-
Maintain a clean and organized reception area

Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry

Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

Assist with organizing and coordinating events and workshops
-
Provide general administrative support to staff as needed
Requirements:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Friendly and welcoming demeanor

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred but not required
Time Commitment:

This is a part-time volunteer position, with a minimum commitment of three days per week (9am - 3pm). Flexible scheduling is available.
