Role Overview:

Be part of our Management Team
We are seeking a passionate volunteer Events and Fundraising Coordinator to help plan and organize events, campaigns, and initiatives to raise funds and awareness for our organization. This role is crucial for supporting our programs and services and ensuring their continued success.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising events and campaigns

  • Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities

  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement fundraising strategies

  • Recruit and coordinate volunteers for events

  • Maintain records of donations and fundraising activities

  • Evaluate the success of events and campaigns

  • Ensure event dates are communicated in advance

  • Coordinate event setup and teardown

  • Organize full-day events every three months

  • Develop and implement the annual Fundraising Strategy and Action Plan

  • Provide written reports on all events and fundraising activities

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

  • Experience in event planning and fundraising is preferred but not required.

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.

  • Ability to manage social media and databases, and prioritize tasks efficiently.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative.

  • Passionate about making a difference in the community.

 

Time Commitment:

  • Minimum of 2 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm. Flexible days.
